The show that was Kampung Indonesia took place on Tuesday, 8 November 2005. The event started with a showcase of Indonesian cuisine, Gado-gado salad, Nasi Goreng and the most popular, Gulai Ayam or our chicken curry.
Starting from 05pm, the night of magic where everybody was taken to an Indonesian Village began. Friendly and cozy atmosphere was complimented with great performances such as Balinese Dance, Gamelan music, Sringgati Dance, and Pencak Silat routines.
The show was a production of the PPI Newcastle and the Indonesian community as a whole. Have a look through the pages for a memoir or two...
